Prep picks: Henry Co. ready to earn overdue chance at title

On the way to a berth in last year’s Class 5A championship game, Hendersonville made a trip to Henry County. The fifth-seeded Commandos picked up a 24-10 win in the second round. This year, as last, the Patriots come in as the No. 1 seed. But they’re 13-0, and have all the confidence that goes with that. Their high-powered offense is anchored by tackle Andrew Jelks, a Vanderbilt commitment and a Mr. Football finalist, and quarterback Najee Ray.
